Manchester City club is preparing to move to sign the Portuguese Pedro Neto, Chelsea winger, during the current summer transfer window.

According to what Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned, Manchester City has directly contacted Pedro Neto's agents with the start of negotiations regarding his potential transfer this summer.
Romano added via his official account on the "X" platform: "Neto is among Manchester City's targets in the event of Savinho's transfer to Tottenham, and he is also believed to be on Tottenham's list as a backup option".
The European and Middle East transfer market expert noted that the deal primarily depends on the financial value that Chelsea will set for selling the Portuguese star.
Several reports indicated that Chelsea values Pedro Neto at around 70 million pounds sterling, and the club does not face pressures that push it to sell the player.
The continuation of Neto's contract until 2031 with the Blues means that his departure will not be easy, but a large financial offer may push the management to reconsider its position.
Manchester City coach Enzo Maresca aspires to resume cooperation with the Portuguese player, who previously worked with him at Chelsea and the player presented a distinguished level under his leadership.
