Turkish press reports have spoken about Konyaspor's interest in obtaining the services of Al Ahly club and Egypt national team midfielder Imam Ashour during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Turkish newspaper "Fotospor", Konyaspor, under the leadership of coach İlhan Palut, is seeking to support its midfield by signing Imam Ashour.
Konyaspor made an offer approaching 3 million euros to obtain the services of the Egyptian star born in 1998, while Al Ahly is asking for 5 million euros and therefore rejected the offer.

Konyaspor has started considering contracting with alternative options with only a few days left before the start of the Turkish league competitions, while Imam Ashour is attracting the interest of other clubs.
Konyaspor is seeking to contract with a midfielder who possesses a high level as soon as possible, to strengthen its ranks well under the leadership of the coach who returned to take responsibility in February 2026.
