The newspaper "Hurriyet" had previously indicated that Salah held a meeting with his agent Rami Abbas to discuss the offers presented to him in preparation for the new season.

The report clarified that Besiktas's offer is the best in Europe for Salah, with a salary reaching 15 million euros annually.

Emad Meteb, Islam El-Shater, Hosny Abd Rabo, Mahmoud Abdel Moneim "Kahraba", Ahmed Hegazi, and Tarek Hamed have all previously worn the Tigers' jersey.
