Trusted Turkish journalist Murad Ozin spoke about Mohamed Salah's potential deal to Besiktas and the reasons it has stalled until now, as the two sides have been negotiating for more than two weeks.
Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to Besiktas in recent weeks, with the Turkish club dreaming of signing the 34-year-old player as a free agent.
Murad Ozin reaffirmed that Mohamed Salah's agent, Rami Abbas, is the main factor complicating the Egyptian Pharaoh's transfer to Besiktas.
Ozin said in statements reported by "Kartal Record": "At first, there was nothing unusual from Salah's side; the player was very keen to join Besiktas, and everything had been agreed with him, but things changed drastically when it came to his agent."
Ozin praised Besiktas's new signing Leandro Trossard, adding: "Mohamed Salah became the talk of the town at Besiktas after the Trossard deal, and Trossard's signing was downplayed because of Salah. Everyone will realize Trossard's value when he plays; Besiktas made a good deal."

Regarding Rami Abbas, he explained: "Rami Abbas is an important figure to Salah; the player does not see him merely as his agent but also as his financial investor."
He continued: "The commission Rami Abbas is demanding is not an amount the president can accept, while negotiations over Mohamed Salah are still ongoing, as Besiktas has submitted its offer and the decision is now in Salah's hands."
He added: "I spoke with the Besiktas administration before starting the podcast; we have not received any response from Salah to Besiktas yet. Besiktas's offer is the final one, and no new update will be issued."
He went on: "The Besiktas administration agreed to all the financial terms Salah requested, as Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that no agreement had been reached on the financial terms, which is incorrect."
Ozin criticized Rami Abbas, continuing: "His agent is stirring up these speculations on social media."
He elaborated: "Salah spoke with Onder Ozin and Vincenzo Italiano, and all details were discussed. Rami Abbas wants a percentage of all team jersey sales in Egypt, England, and Africa, and 50% of sales elsewhere, including Turkey."
