One of Turkey's famous journalists received a strong accusation of obstructing the potential transfer deal for Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to Besiktas during the current summer transfer window.
Mohamed Salah has not yet decided his future amid links to a possible move to Besiktas, after becoming a free agent on June 30 following his official departure from Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah reached a preliminary agreement with Besiktas regarding his joining the team, before everything stopped due to the financial demands of his agent Rami Abbas, with nothing settled yet.

On the other hand, Turkish journalist Çınar Yücekurt wrote on his personal X account: "The claims that Mohamed Salah bought a new house in Bodrum (a Turkish city) are incorrect; he bought properties for investment in various summer resorts in Turkey 3 or 4 years ago".
He added: "As for his intention to reside in Istanbul, that is correct, but that information (mentioned earlier) is not new or exclusive; I was the first to publish that news initially".
He continued: "You are making sensational news, Yağız Sabuncuoğlu (a famous Turkish journalist who was the first to publish news of the Mohamed Salah and Besiktas deal, and the club accused him in an official statement of speaking about matters that are not true), keep going that way, you are on the right path".
He concluded: "If Mohamed Salah's transfer does not go through, one of the reasons behind that will be the news published by Sabuncuoğlu".
