Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet," a player for Al-Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, denied that he is considering retiring from international football with the Egyptian national team.

Trezeguet joined Al-Riyadh during the current summer transfer window after terminating his contract with Al-Ahly.
Speaking via Rotana Khalijia channel, Trezeguet said: "I knew that the Saudi league is very strong, and I am proud to be in such a strong league. I am happy to be in Saudi Arabia, my second home, and I hope this is a good start and that it will be recorded in my history that I made something special here."
He continued, "In every match I have played, I have found Egyptian fans present, and perhaps even more than the fans of the competing teams. I thank them for that."
He added, "Everything here is well-equipped, from the stadiums to other facilities. We have a distinguished technical staff and a management that supports us."
He emphasized, "International retirement? I am still 31 years old and still young. I am at the disposal of the national team at any time, and it is still too early to retire."
He added, "The Saudi league is very strong, and every team has distinguished players. The league management itself is excellent. I have played in England, Belgium, Turkey, and many other leagues, and the system here is at the highest level, whether in terms of stadiums, facilities, or fans. No team will be able to clinch the league title early."
He revealed, "Trabzonspor officials spoke to me before negotiating with Mohamed Salah. He is like a brother to me, and we have been playing for the national team for 13 years. I advised him to move to Trabzonspor because it is a good team, and I wish him success and continued elevation of our country's name."
Regarding Salah's successor in Egypt, he said: "For me, every player has a different story. We should not pressure players to have to achieve what Salah achieved. Every player should have their own personal success."
He concluded, "The best player in the Saudi league? For me, Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in history and is an asset to any place, so for me, he is the best."
