Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the Al-Riyadh player, gave his team the advantage against Al-Shabab in the match between the two clubs as part of the Saudi League competition.
Al-Riyadh faces their counterpart Al-Shabab in the third round matches of the Saudi League, with the encounter taking place at the SHG Arena stadium.
Trezeguet puts Al-Riyadh in the lead
Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet succeeded in breaking the goal-scoring drought in his team Al-Riyadh's match against Al-Shabab, after managing to find the net past Mohammed Al-Mahasneh, the home team's goalkeeper.
Al-Riyadh's goal came in the 32nd minute of the match, after Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet received the ball inside Al-Shabab's penalty area before unleashing a powerful left-footed shot that found the back of the net.
Trezeguet had played three matches with Al-Riyadh since joining the Saudi club without scoring, prior to the Al-Shabab encounter where he opened his scoring account.
