Trabzonspor has finalized the signing of a former Liverpool star, as the Turkish club seeks to strengthen its squad during the current summer transfer window following a poor start to the season.
Trabzonspor has completed several signings this summer, most notably securing Mohamed Salah on a free transfer after the Egyptian international terminated his contract with Liverpool at the end of last season.
The Turkish newspaper "Sabah" confirmed that Trabzonspor has finalized the signing of Fabinho, the former Liverpool star, on a free transfer. The former Brazilian international will once again team up with Mohamed Salah at the same club.

The report added that Fabinho will arrive in Trabzon tomorrow afternoon, Monday, via a private jet, before officially signing his transfer contracts with the Turkish team.
Fabinho possesses extensive experience, having played for Real Madrid, Monaco, Liverpool, and most recently Al-Ittihad.
Fabinho left Al-Ittihad at the end of last season after the midfielder did not renew his contract with the Saudi club.
Trabzonspor fans hope that signing Fabinho will improve the team's situation, following a poor start to the season marked by a 1-1 draw last week against Kasımpaşa in the Turkish League, and subsequently a 1-0 loss to Ferencváros in the first leg of the Europa League playoff.
