Media reports today revealed that the municipal council of the Yomra district, where Trabzonspor star Mohamed Salah will reside in the coming period, has made an important decision regarding the Egyptian international, in a gesture of honor for the player.
Mohamed Salah is spending his first months as a player for Trabzonspor, having signed a contract with the Turkish club for two seasons, until June 2028.
The website "61saat" reported that the municipal council of the Yomra district is preparing to make a historic decision: renaming "Selvi Street," where the Egyptian Pharaoh will reside, to "Mohamed Salah Street."

It was added that the house where Mohamed Salah will reside in the Yomra district is currently being renovated, and it is expected to be ready as soon as possible, so that the 34-year-old can settle there permanently.

In this context, Yomra Mayor Mustafa Beik stated: "Mohamed Salah's transfer to Trabzonspor is one of the most important deals not only in the club's history, but in the history of Turkish football in general. We are very proud and happy to host a world star like Salah in Yomra, and his residence in Yomra will significantly increase the value of this area."
He concluded: "It is a great honor for me that a star of this magnitude will reside in Yomra. Therefore, we want to immortalize this moment in Yomra's history by naming the street where Mohamed Salah will live in our district after him."
Mohamed Salah, along with his teammates at Trabzon, is preparing to face Amid Sportif in the third round of the Turkish league.
