Tottenham Hotspur's Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi delivered a strongly worded message to the team's players ahead of the new season.
De Zerbi made his position completely clear regarding dissatisfied players, stating that any player who does not wish to remain at the club should look for another club this summer.
Tottenham manager issues warning to squad
De Zerbi said in remarks before Tottenham's pre-season friendly against Auckland FC: "I have been very clear since the start of my time at Tottenham. I said: Whoever does not want to stay at Tottenham? Whoever is not happy and not proud to be here must leave."
The Tottenham manager added: "I want the players to feel pride and happiness at staying here, and to step onto the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium pitch with great enthusiasm, because enthusiasm is what makes the difference in football today, even at the World Cup."
These comments come amid ongoing speculation about midfielder Lucas Bergvall's future.
An offer worth £38 million from Nottingham Forest to sign Bergvall had previously been rejected, and a revised bid of around £45 million is expected.
