Argentine Franco Mastantuono, Real Madrid player, has become close to transferring to the Italian league via Fiorentina.

After attracting interest from several European clubs, as well as his former club River Plate, Spanish newspaper Marca confirmed that Fiorentina's project has won the approval of the 18-year-old player.
Mastantuono held talks with Fiorentina officials, convinced that the Italian club can give him the role he seeks, especially since strong competition within Real Madrid may limit his chances of regular participation.
Previous reports indicated that Fiorentina has taken the lead among Italian clubs interested in Mastantuono's services, with interest also coming from other clubs.
Real Madrid prefers to send him out on a one-season loan without an option to buy, as the Royal Club continues to believe in the player's potential and wants to retain control over his future.
Mastantuono featured in 35 matches for Real Madrid over the past season, totaling 1,484 minutes, during which he scored 3 goals.
