The main Referees Committee, affiliated with the Egyptian Football Association, continues implementing its preparatory program for international referees and Premier League referees, as part of the final preparations ahead of the new sports season competitions.
The referees’ preparatory program aims to raise technical and physical efficiency and ensure full readiness to manage matches in the upcoming season, which will feature many important and decisive encounters.
The program set by the Referees Committee includes a series of theoretical lectures reviewing the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game, interpreting various refereeing incidents, in addition to unifying decision-making mechanisms and discussing the most prominent situations witnessed in previous matches.
The camp featured former referees delivering technical and practical lectures to pass on their experience; they are: Mahmoud El-Banna, Mohamed El-Hanafi, Mohamed Youssef, and Mohamed El-Sabbahi, while on the practical side Hani Abdel-Fattah and Ayman Djish.

“The program included a series of theoretical lectures focusing on the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game, interpreting various refereeing incidents, alongside unifying decision-making mechanisms and discussing the most prominent situations witnessed in previous matches, in a way that contributes to enhancing the accuracy of decisions and reducing refereeing errors.”
“On the practical side, the referees underwent intensive field training inside the pitch, including correct positioning, effective movement, reading the flow of play, and speed of decision-making, in addition to special drills on coordination between the referee and assistant referees and match-management techniques according to the latest international standards.”
“The Referees Committee enlisted a number of former international referees to deliver technical and practical lectures with the aim of passing on their experience to the referees attending the camp; they are: Mahmoud El-Banna, Mohamed El-Hanafi, Mohamed Youssef, and Mohamed El-Sabbahi, while on the practical side Hani Abdel-Fattah and Ayman Djish.”
