Social media users circulated in the past hours news indicating the departure of Mohamed Abu El-Ela, head of the medical staff of the Egyptian national team, in the coming period, amid a desire from Hossam Hassan, the technical director, to make more than one change.
"Boutoulat" learned that what was circulated regarding the departure of Mohamed Abu El-Ela from his position is not true at all, and that he continues in his position normally as head of the medical staff of the Egyptian national team, in addition to his presidency of the medical committee at the Football Association.
Abu El-Ela has maintained his position as head of the medical staff for 9 years with the Mexican Javier Aguirre, Hossam El-Badry, the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, Ehab Galal, the Portuguese Rui Vitoria, and then the current staff led by Hossam Hassan.

Abu El-Ela assumed the position of head of the medical staff after Magdy Abdel Aziz's departure and the illness of his successor Dr. Osama El-Shaer, and Abdel Aziz chose him to work with him in the medical staff of the Egyptian national team with the Argentine Hector Cuper taking charge in March 2015.
