The media personality Ahmed Shoubir has settled the controversy regarding the departure of three members from the technical staff of the Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, before participating in the September camp.
The Egyptian national team is preparing to face the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, during the period from June 19 until July 17, 2027.
The Egyptian national team is in the second group of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, alongside Angola, South Sudan, and Malawi.

Reports have spoken about Hossam Hassan's desire for the departure of the trio: Mohamed Abdel Wahed, the team coach, Saafan El Sagheer, the goalkeeping coach, and Dr. Mohamed Aboul Ela, head of the medical staff.
"Shoubir" said in his radio program on On Sport Radio: "I tried to contact Ibrahim Hassan directly, but he did not respond to my call."
He continued: "I contacted one of the officials closely connected to the technical staff, and he denied this matter, saying to me: 'With an 80% probability, no member will leave the technical staff of the Egyptian national team with Hossam Hassan.'"
He added: "One of the officials confirmed to me that this matter is not true, and I spoke with the technical staff trio, and they confirmed to me that the relationship with Hossam Hassan is good and they were surprised by the matter."
