The Supreme Council for Media Regulation praised the level of Al-Ahly and Zamalek channels, and Zamalek Radio in the past period.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation drew attention to the development of the performance of the two channels and the radio, and their commitment to professional controls.
The statement of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation came as follows:
"The Sports Media Performance Control Committee at the Supreme Council for Media praises the development of the performance of Al-Ahly and Zamalek channels and "Zamalek Radio".. and confirms the continuation of daily follow-up".
"In the framework of the monitoring work carried out by the General Administration for Monitoring at the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, and the follow-up of the Sports Media Performance Control Committee headed by Counselor Abdel Salam Al-Naggar, Vice President of the State Council and member of the Council, which observed a notable development in the media performance of Al-Ahly and Zamalek channels, in addition to Zamalek Radio".
"The monitoring results showed better commitment to professional standards and controls, and implementation of what was agreed upon during the committee's meeting with the officials of the two channels and the radio on Tuesday, July 21 last, in addition to the presenters' keenness to provide more balanced and objective content, and to avoid any presentation that might contribute to inciting fanaticism or tension among the fans, in a way that enhances the climate of sports competition within a framework of respect and responsibility".
"The committee praises this improvement, confirming that commitment to the codes and professional standards regulating sports coverage represents a positive step towards supporting responsible sports media, and consolidating the values of fair competition and respect for all elements of the sports system, expressing hope for the continuation of this approach in the coming period, in a way that contributes to strengthening a more professional and balanced sports media environment".
"The committee added that there is ongoing communication with the officials of these media platforms to discuss observations first-hand, in a way that supports commitment to professional controls and enhances responsible media performance".
