The Opta global network's supercomputer has predicted the identity of the winner of the new season of the UEFA Champions League, 2026/27, which kicks off next week.
Paris Saint-Germain were crowned champions of last season's Champions League after defeating Arsenal on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
UEFA held the draw for the league phase of the Champions League two weeks ago (read the details here).
According to what the Opta global network published based on the supercomputer, Arsenal is the top favorite to win the Champions League in its new season, with a probability of 21.2%.
Bayern Munich comes in second with a probability of 19.9%, followed by Manchester City at 12%, Paris Saint-Germain at 7.7%, while Barcelona ranks fifth with a predicted probability of 7%.
Real Madrid occupies sixth place according to the computer with a probability of 5.1%, which is the same as Liverpool's, while Manchester United is in eighth place with 3.7%, followed by Inter Milan at 3.4% and Aston Villa at 2%.
