A press report said on Tuesday that Paris Saint-Germain is preparing a resounding surprise for Real Madrid, which would represent a real thunderbolt if completed.
While Real Madrid and Leipzig continue negotiations to complete the deal for the Ivorian Yan Diomande, new intermediaries close to Paris Saint-Germain are trying to lead the Parisian club's final attack.
"L'Equipe" newspaper said: "What if Yan Diomande's (19 years old) saga is not over yet? Despite his imminent move to Real Madrid, the Ivorian winger, who has already agreed to a contract with the Spanish club days ago (reports indicate an amount ranging between 50 and 55 million euros over five years), was present at Leipzig's training session on Tuesday".
It added: "Real Madrid and the German club have not yet reached a final agreement on his transfer. Could this situation benefit Paris Saint-Germain? With the increasing likelihood of Bradley Barcola moving to Liverpool, the Parisian club now has new arguments to try to revive this deal".
"L'Equipe" continued: "Internally, Paris Saint-Germain, which officially announced — in a press statement — its withdrawal from the race, realizes that the player has always been attracted to the Parisian project. This is because many members of his family support the club, in addition to the fact that the idea of playing under Luis Enrique greatly appeals to him. The number of interested parties in him has increased significantly in recent days, leading to a significant increase in the required deal value".
The newspaper dropped the bombshell by saying: "In recent hours, new intermediaries, said to be much closer to Paris Saint-Germain, have tried to set things right and resume contact. Is this enough to signal a final Parisian attack? This possibility gained credibility on Tuesday, provided that Real Madrid does not finalize the deal beforehand".
