A source from Zamalek Club revealed today, Friday, the stumbling of the procedures for establishing the football company at the club, amid the "White Castle" administration's insistence on supervising the company's management and refusing to grant investors the right to manage it.

A number of investors expressed their desire to inject funds into the Zamalek Club's football company amounting to 5 billion pounds, in exchange for assuming the management of the football company, which the "White Castle" board of directors rejected.

A source said, in exclusive statements via "Yalla Koura", on Friday, that the Zamalek Club administration wants to supervise the football company, which led to delaying the completion of the establishment procedures.

A number of board members, starting from Hussein Labib, the club president, along with Hossam El-Mandouh, Hani Shukri, and Ahmed Suleiman, members of the board of directors, insisted on the idea that the club should be responsible for managing the football company.

In another context, Zamalek Club continues its work to finalize the African license file in order to participate in the African Champions League competition in the next season 2026-2027.

Zamalek Club's ascent to the first African competition at the club level came due to winning the league title in the past season, after a struggle that extended until the last week with Pyramids and Al-Ahly.

Zamalek Club officials also want to resolve the file of outstanding financial dues for the players, and the file of the new foreign technical director, in order to prepare for the new season.
