The Egyptian Football Association, headed by Hani Abu Rida, commends the decision of Gianni Infantino to withdraw the proposal of the "FIFA Forward Enterprise" project; in response to the observations and opinions expressed by the member associations of the International Federation.
It added that true leadership is manifested in listening to the member associations and acting in the best interests of the global football community; this decision strengthens the unity of the international football family and reflects the spirit of communication, consultation, and respect for the different viewpoints of the members of the International Federation.
The Egyptian Football Association expresses its optimism that the International Federation and its member associations will work together to find the best ways to achieve these shared goals.
The Egyptian Football Association also reaffirms its full confidence in the leadership of Gianni Infantino and its continued support for any initiatives that serve the interests of the member associations and the future of world football.
