The Football Association has begun contacting several European federations to bring in foreign refereeing crews for the matches between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, and between Al-Ahly and Pyramids.

Al-Ahly Club has submitted a request to the Clubs League to bring in foreign referees for the Zamalek and Pyramids matches in the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Ahly will face their traditional rival Zamalek in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League on October 11 at Cairo International Stadium.

Meanwhile, Al-Ahly will play against Pyramids in the ninth round of the league championship on November 23 at Cairo International Stadium.

Yalla Kora has learned that the Football Association has started contacting several foreign federations to secure a foreign refereeing crew for the matches between Al-Ahly versus Zamalek and Al-Ahly versus Pyramids.

According to the Football Association's regulations, any team wishing to bring in foreign referees must contact the association 10 days before the match and submit the referees' costs.

Essam Abdelfatah, head of the Referees Committee, previously stated in earlier comments that there are difficulties in assigning an Egyptian refereeing crew to officiate the Al-Ahly vs. Zamalek match.
