The Football Association announces penalties for the Mansoura vs. Farco match

The Football Association announced penalties for the match between Al Mansoura and Farco in the Professional League, following the cancellation of the game due to objections against the referee.

Al Mansoura team withdrew from their match against Farco after a controversial incident involving a goal claim; Al Mansoura players demanded the goal be awarded amid doubts whether the ball had fully crossed the goal line. The ball was returned to Farco players, who subsequently scored their second goal.

The Competitions Committee decided to record Al Mansoura Club as defeated by two goals to nil due to their withdrawal, applying Article (51) of the Competitions Regulations.

It was also decided to deduct three points from Al Mansoura Club's total, in addition to recording them as defeated in this match, and to re-rank the team within the competition standings, along with
imposing a financial fine of forty thousand Egyptian pounds.

Furthermore, the decisions included submitting a memorandum to the Football Association's Board of Directors to take necessary actions regarding the Chairman of Al Mansoura Club's Board, and imposing an additional financial fine of ten thousand Egyptian pounds on the club for insulting the referee.

Yasser Sayed Abdel Wahed, Director of Player Affairs at Al Mansoura Club, and Hisham Samir Mohamed Ibrahim, the team manager, received a one-match suspension and a financial fine of two thousand Egyptian pounds each after receiving red cards.

Regarding the match between Telecom Egypt and Ismaily, it was decided to impose a financial fine of 10,000 Egyptian pounds on Ismaily Club due to collective verbal abuse directed against the referees, technical staff, and players of the opposing team.
