The Football Association and the Egyptian Clubs Association held a coordination meeting to set the roadmap for the new 2026-2027 season.
Shawqi Gharib, the technical director of the association, attended, along with the association's representative in the meeting, Taha Ezzat, head of the competitions committee, and from the main competitions committee, Sayed Bakhit, head of the committee, and Nasser Farag, deputy head of the committee.
The meeting discussed the preliminary proposal for the agenda of the upcoming 2026/2027 season, with the final adoption of the new season's agenda to take place after the scheduled meeting with the technical staff of the first national team, led by Hossam Hassan, the technical director, and Ibrahim Hassan, the team manager.
The attendees affirmed the continuation of coordination and cooperation among all parties, which contributes to concluding the upcoming season in a manner satisfactory to all parties.
The Clubs Association has not yet announced the date of the Egyptian League draw or the start date of the season.
The previous Egyptian League season concluded on May 20.
Zamalek won the Egyptian League title for the past season, ahead of Pyramids and Al Ahly.
