Joey Botivere, the new coach of the first team's goalkeepers at Al Ahly Club, expressed his great happiness at joining the ranks of the Red.
Al Ahly Club had announced a number of members of the assistant staff for Hussein Amouta, the new technical director of the first team, including Joey Botivere as goalkeeper coach.
Joey Botivere wrote on his official accounts on social media: "I was honored on Tuesday to be introduced as the goalkeeper coach at the largest club in Africa".
The Dutch coach added: "It is a great honor to become part of a club where the fans aspire to the highest levels and seek excellence".
He continued: "From the moment I arrived, several things immediately caught my attention: the rich history, the great ambition, and above all, the overwhelming passion of the fans".
He added: "I believe that success is built on daily commitment, attention to the smallest details, continuous learning, and close cooperation. These principles will be a guiding light for me in my daily work as we strive to develop our goalkeepers and contribute to achieving the team's goals".
Joey Botivere concluded his statements by saying: "To everyone who welcomed me with great warmth, thank you for your trust, and I look forward to working side by side with distinguished players and staff as we strive to achieve the success that this club and its fans deserve. Let's get to work".
