Al Ahly Club announced, on Wednesday evening, the signing of midfielder Akram Tawfik during the current summer transfer window.
Al Ahly said through its official website that Akram Tawfik was signed for 3 seasons in a free transfer deal.
Essam Serag El-Din, head of the contracts sector, completed all financial and administrative procedures in full coordination with Wael Gomaa, the football director.
Akram Tawfik returns again to Al Ahly after leaving the team's ranks in the summer of 2025.
Akram Tawfik played for one season with Al-Shamal of Qatar before terminating his contract by mutual consent in order to return to Al Ahly.
Akram Tawfik became Al Ahly's fifth signing in the current summer transfer market after Ali Mahmoud, Oktay Abdullah, Sofiane Ben Jedidia and Monsef Beqdar.
