Nico Haak, the Dutch coach, is preparing to begin his official duties with Al Ahly Club, after terminating his contract with his former club, Emmen.

Nico Haak had been present at Al Ahly Club a few days ago, where he witnessed one of the youth teams' tournaments, accompanied by members of the technical staff of the Reds.

Dutch journalist Niels Dechhuizen mentioned that Haak reached a financial agreement with Emmen Club, as he will move to Egypt to work at Al Ahly Club.

Niels Dechhuizen explained via his official account on social media that Nico Haak will assume, starting today, Thursday, the position of Head of Youth Development at Al Ahly Club.

For its part, the Dutch RTV newspaper revealed that Haak has found a new job in the world of football, as the 44-year-old coach residing in Emmen will begin his work as the Technical Director of the Youth Sector at Al Ahly Club.

It added: "Al Ahly Club is the record holder for the number of Egyptian League wins and is considered one of the largest clubs in Africa".

The report concluded that Nico Haak's position at Al Ahly, which he will officially begin in September, will be similar to the one he held previously at Emmen Club.

Nico Haak had held several positions at the Dutch Emmen Club, most notably Head of the Youth Sector and Sports Director, and he also took over the technical leadership of the first team for a short period.
