Zamalek's first-team football squad completed its first African mission of the season by defeating AS Port of Djibouti in the Champions League.
Zamalek beat AS Port of Djibouti 2-1 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The return match between Zamalek and the Djiboutian champions is scheduled for Saturday evening, September 12.

Following their African victory, Zamalek shifts focus to the Premier League competition with a match against Abu Qir Fertilizers.
The match between Zamalek and Abu Qir Fertilizers will take place next Tuesday (September 8) at Cairo International Stadium as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Zamalek vs. Abu Qir Fertilizers match will kick off at 8:00 PM.
Zamalek began their league campaign with a goalless draw against Al Ittihad Alexandria, then defeated National Bank of Egypt (3-0), before beating Suez Petrojet (2-1).
