The Qatar national team has set up a semifinal clash with their Saudi counterpart in the Arabian Gulf Cup "Khaleeji 27," after Al-Anabi advanced as the runner-up of Group Two, while Al-Akhdar qualified as the leader of Group One.
The Qatar national team drew with their UAE counterpart, one goal each, during the match held this Wednesday evening, as part of the third and final round of the group stage in the Arabian Gulf Cup "Khaleeji 27."
The Saudi national team had previously secured a victory over their Iraqi counterpart by two goals to nil in the match held yesterday, Tuesday, marking the conclusion of the group stage.
The new edition of the "Khaleeji 27" tournament features the participation of 8 national teams, competing for the title from September 23 to October 6, 2026. These teams are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, and Yemen.
