A source has revealed the date for Karim El-Debis's return to Al-Ahly's group training sessions ahead of the Red Devils' upcoming match in the Premier League.
The source confirmed in exclusive statements to Yalla Kora that the player has recovered from his recent injury.
The source added that the player is scheduled to rejoin normal group training tomorrow, Saturday, with a final decision on his participation in the match against El-Mokawloon expected in the coming days.
The decision regarding the player's participation is expected to rest with Hussein Ammouta, Al-Ahly's head coach, who has recently relied on Koka and Karim Fouad in the left-back position.
El-Debis had suffered an injury during Al-Ahly's match against Sharqia Enppi in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Earlier, Ahmed Gaballah, the head physician of Al-Ahly's first team, clarified that Karim El-Debis had sustained a hamstring strain.
Al-Ahly announced last Wednesday evening that the player's contract had been extended until the summer of 2029.
In other news, Al-Ahly comes off a hard-fought victory against Smouha in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League championship.
The Red Devils have collected 9 points from the first three rounds of the tournament after defeating both Sharqia Enppi and ZED in the opening two matches.
