Pyramids FC's first football team is preparing to face their Kenyan counterpart, Gor Mahia, today, in the first leg of the Round of 64 in the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League season.
Led by South African head coach Rulani Mokwena, Pyramids aims to secure a victory at the start of their African campaign, seeking qualification to the Round of 32.
The match between Pyramids and Kenya's Gor Mahia will be officiated by Algerian referee Mohamed Rafik, assisted by his compatriot Yassine Ben Salama as first assistant, Mohamed Hamaidi as second assistant, and Hossam Ben Yahia as fourth official.

Kick-off time for today's Pyramids vs. Gor Mahia match
The first-leg match between Pyramids and Kenya's Gor Mahia will take place today, Sunday, at 3:00 PM Cairo and Saudi time, at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, as part of the preliminary round of the African competition.
The return leg between Pyramids and Gor Mahia is scheduled for 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, according to the timetable set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
