Alamein Airport witnessed a massive turnout from the Egyptian crowds to welcome the national team delegation, following their return from participating in the 2026 World Cup finals.
The fans were keen to raise banners, through which they directed a message of thanks to the Egyptian national football team delegation, led by technical director Hossam Hassan.
The Pharaohs' fans wrote: "Thank you, you honored us", on several banners bearing pictures of the national team players in addition to the technical director.
The Egyptian national team had bid farewell to the World Cup competitions, from the round of 16, at the hands of their Argentine counterpart, with three goals to two.
