The Egyptian Clubs Association announced the penalties for the third round of the league competition.

The third round concluded with the match between Al-Ahly and Smouha, which took place last Thursday.

The association also issued a warning to Ahmed Abdel Aziz Mohamed, head coach of Smouha, and imposed a fine of 20,000 Egyptian pounds on him for failing to attend the press conference following his team's match against Al-Ahly.

Al-Ahly defeated Smouha 1-0, with Yasser Ibrahim scoring the only goal in the 87th minute.

Additionally, the association suspended Ahmed Wahid, a player for Tala'ea El Gaish, for one match and fined him 2,500 Egyptian pounds due to his dismissal during the match against ZED after receiving two yellow cards in the same game.

Tala'ea El Gaish suffered their first defeat of the season in the league competition, losing 1-0 to ZED.

Al-Ahly and Pyramids FC share the top spot in the league standings with 9 points each, having secured three victories apiece.

Zamalek, the defending champions from last season, occupy third place with 7 points, achieved through two wins and one draw.
