The Egyptian Professional Clubs League announced the penalties for the third round of the first stage of the 2026-2027 new season of the Egyptian Premier League, in accordance with the competition regulations, the violations and penalties bylaws, and the quality control system.
The penalties were as follows:
Tala'ea El Gaish vs. ZED match
The League decided to suspend Ahmed Waheed Farouk Bayoumi Farouk, a Tala'ea El Gaish player, for one match and impose a fine of 2,500 Egyptian pounds due to his expulsion after receiving two cautions during the match.
Al Ahly vs. Smouha match
The League decided to issue a warning to Ahmed Abdel Aziz Mohamed, Smouha's head coach, and impose a fine of 20,000 Egyptian pounds for failing to attend the post-match press conference.
It was also decided to apply Article 54 of the Egyptian Premier League competition regulations for the 2026-2027 season, concerning cautions issued to technical, administrative, medical staff, and players.
