The Egyptian Professional Clubs League has announced the sanctions for the first round of the Egyptian Premier League tournament.
The Professional Clubs League disclosed several sanctions pertaining to matches played during the first round of the Premier League, including the match between Al-Ahly and Sharqia Enppi, and Ceramica Cleopatra versus Al-Qanah.
Sanctions for the First Round of the Premier League
The Professional Clubs League announced the sanctions for the first round of the Premier League tournament, which were applied to the matches: Al-Ahly vs. Sharqia Enppi, Ceramica Cleopatra vs. Al-Qanah, Abu Qir Fertilizers vs. National Bank of Egypt, and Wadi Degla vs. ZED.
Match: Al-Ahly vs. Sharqia Enppi
The Clubs League decided to impose a financial fine of 30,000 Egyptian pounds on Ashraf Bencharqi, an Al-Ahly player, due to his failure to conduct a television interview after winning the Man of the Match award.
It was also decided to suspend Mohamed Essam, coach of Sharqia Enppi, from being with the team for four matches, along with imposing a financial fine of 20,000 Egyptian pounds, due to using obscene language towards the referee.
Match: Wadi Degla vs. ZED
A financial fine of 10,000 Egyptian pounds was imposed on the Wadi Degla team due to their delayed entry onto the field before the start of the second half of the match.

A financial fine of 10,000 Egyptian pounds was imposed on the Abu Qir Fertilizers team due to their delayed entry onto the field before the start of the second half.
Match: Ceramica Cleopatra vs. Al-Qanah
It was decided to suspend Momen Ahmed, a player for Al-Qanah team, for two matches along with imposing a financial fine of 5,000 Egyptian pounds, due to his expulsion for violent play.
