Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah is preparing to lead Trabzonspor's first football team against Istanbul Başakşehir in the Turkish League during the 2026/2027 season.
Trabzonspor's first football team will face Turkish side Başakşehir today, Sunday, as part of the second round matches of the Turkish League championship.
The "Papara Park" stadium, home ground of Trabzonspor, will host their match against Başakşehir, which is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

Trabzonspor currently has one point after drawing with Kasımpaşa in the first round, while Başakşehir holds three points following their 2-0 victory over Kocaelispor.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah aims to score his first goal wearing the Trabzonspor jersey, having previously appeared as a substitute against Kasımpaşa and played in the first leg of the Europa League qualifying playoff against Ferencváros.
