Manchester City has reached an agreement with Brazilian club Palmeiras to sign winger Allan Elias for €40 million during the current summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.

According to The Athletic, the deal includes a fixed fee of €37.5 million plus €2.5 million in add-ons, while the duration of the player's contract with Manchester City has not yet been finalized.
Palmeiras initially refused to let the player leave, especially since his contract includes a release clause worth €100 million.
Allan's arrival at Manchester City comes to compensate for the departures of Omar Marmoush and Savinho, who have agreed to join Tottenham.
Allan is expected to become Manchester City's third signing of the summer, following the acquisitions of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116 million and the addition of 17-year-old young talent Jeremy Munga from Leicester City.
Manchester City is also close to signing Moroccan Ayoub Bouaddi from Lille.
Allan progressed through Palmeiras' academy before making his first-team debut in January 2025.
To date, Allan has participated in 96 matches wearing the Palmeiras jersey, scoring 9 goals and providing 12 assists.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian winger has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists during the current season.
