Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish Football League Association, attacked Gianni Infantino, president of the International Football Federation, after news spread about the Swiss official's intention to conduct business related to FIFA.
It was reported that Infantino had been in contact during the past period with investors to sell shares in a commercial company linked to FIFA, which angered Tebas (details here).
Tebas believes through his official account on the "X" platform that FIFA is not owned by Infantino, clarifying that the latter is the real problem in the International Football Federation.
Tebas wrote: "Within about a month, Gianni Infantino withdrew a red card due to suspicion of political interference, and after that, the US Congress requested clarification regarding FIFA's withdrawal of charges against former FIFA members convicted of corruption, among other things."

He added: "And now, FIFA is worth more than 10 billion dollars, and up to an additional 20 million dollars for each federation, while preparing for the entry of private sector investors into its rights and competitions; this does not look like reform, but rather looks like an election campaign funded by the future of football."
Tebas clarified: "Silencing voices, FIFA's rights are personally for Infantino."
He continued: "Whoever mixes politics, discipline, money, and power cannot lead anything; Infantino is not the solution to FIFA's governance, but rather the problem."
