Liverpool player Dominik Szoboszlai expressed his confidence in the ability of the new coach Andoni Iraola to lead the team to success, confirming that winning the English Premier League has become his biggest goal after experiencing winning the title, and he stressed his readiness to play in any position for the benefit of the team.

Liverpool finished last season in fifth place in the league with 60 points.
Szoboszlai said through the French newspaper L'Equipe, quoting from Liverpool Echo: "I am convinced that we are capable of competing, and I hope that the new coach Andoni Iraola will lead us on the right path".
He continued: "When I was a child, my biggest dream was always to win the Champions League, perhaps more than the dream of winning the English Premier League, but after experiencing winning the English Premier League, I have become very eager to win it again, because what I experienced in 2025 was something incredible".
Regarding his preferred position, he said: "I could easily say: 'I don't want to play as a full-back, either I play in midfield or I won't participate', but I don't do that, because my goal is to help my team in any way possible".
He concluded: "I want to win, and help my team achieve the best possible results in the matches I play".
The English Premier League kicks off on August 21 next, with Liverpool playing their first match against Newcastle on August 23.
