The White Knights drew 0-0 with Alexandria United in Round 1 of the Egyptian Premier League, then defeated National Bank of Egypt 3-0 in Round 2.

Meanwhile, Suez Petrojet drew 1-1 away against Assiut Petroleum in Round 1 of the Premier League, before losing 3-2 at home to Talaie El Gaish.
