Moutaz Selim, head of the temporary committee managing Montakhab El-Suez Club, revealed the details of his team's merger with Petrojet.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the merger of the Sharqia team with Enppi and Montakhab El-Suez with Petrojet to establish two football companies.

Selim said via FilGoal.com: "Following meetings that lasted two months and resulted in the formation of the Montakhab El-Suez Petrojet company with a 51% stake for Petrojet and 49% for Montakhab El-Suez, the company's members will consist of 3 members from Petrojet Club and two members from Suez, and all profits will be distributed according to the agreed percentages, and the team will play its matches at the new Suez Stadium and the Montakhab El-Suez training grounds".

He added, "Ceramica Cleopatra offered us the merger, but I preferred the merger with Petrojet after my request to the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Minister of Petroleum".

He continued, "The coming period will witness the merger of other division clubs with company clubs".

He added, "The club's license is suspended in the second division, so if the two companies separate, we will play in the second division and not the fourth".

He concluded, "The elements of the Montakhab El-Suez team will be evaluated by Sayed Eid, the team's technical director".

The Montakhab El-Suez and Sharqia teams are in the second division during the next season, but they will participate alongside Petrojet and Enppi in the Premier League.
