The Egyptian Football Association conducted physical tests for international referees and Egyptian League referees in preparation for the new season.
The international referees, Premier League referees, and assistants—numbering 24 field referees and 68 assistants—underwent the "Cooper" physical fitness test on the fields of Al-Nasr Club.
This comes as part of the program set by the Egyptian Football Association and the main Referees Committee to prepare the referees before the start of the new 2026-2027 season competitions, within the framework of a plan to raise the physical and technical efficiency of the arbitration personnel.
All 24 field referees passed the tests, as did 56 assistants, while 12 assistants failed.
The test was conducted according to the standards approved by the International Football Association "FIFA", under the supervision of the officials of the main Referees Committee, with the aim of assessing the referees' readiness before the start of the new season.
