Via Yallakora

The Republic of Ireland national team drew 1-1 with the Israeli entity in a match within the fourth round of League B of the UEFA Nations League.

The match was held at TSC Arena in Serbia, and Irish players wore black armbands to mourn the victims of the war in Gaza, as they did during the first leg in the second round.

Scenes from the first meeting were repeated, as Irish players refused to shake hands with their opponents before kickoff, and bowed their heads during the playing of the Israeli national anthem.

Ireland captain Caoimhin Kelleher refused to shake hands with his counterpart before the match, amid Irish players' anger over the game being played in the first place.

Troy Parrott scored Ireland's only goal in the 39th minute from a penalty kick.

Ireland raised their points tally to five, tying with Kosovo for second place on equal points, while their opponent reached two points, finishing last in the group standings in fourth place.
