Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, affirmed that he belongs to Al Ahly Club, explaining that his upbringing inside the Red Castle makes him, when assuming any position, stand at an equal distance from everyone, and that his affiliation is to the Egyptian state and the public interest.
Nabil said, during the Al Ahly sponsorship ceremony this Monday evening: "Al Ahly is always seeking the top spot, and the partnership with Vodafone will have a positive impact for both parties".
He added: "I am not new to the place, whether it is sports or commercial, and it is not strange to have a partnership that I consider one of the best partnerships that will happen, and I believe it will have a positive impact on the partners".
He continued: "The beauty of the partnership is not only the name of Al Ahly Club and the Vodafone brand name; the beauty lies in the character of each brand. Al Ahly Club always wants to be number one, and Vodafone fights to be number one".

He went on: "The mix that will occur between the two brands in the partnership, I expect as a sportsman before being a minister, aligns with the political leadership's directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to invest in people".
Today, under the shadow of the Pyramids, the launch ceremony of the largest sponsorship contract in Al Ahly Club's history was held, announcing Vodafone as the sponsor of the Reds for 4 years, in the presence of Al Ahly Club stars, Egyptian sports stars, and senior officials from Vodafone and the United Company for Sports.
