Barcelona has settled its stance on the future of Swedish winger Ronnie Bardghji, after the technical staff led by Hans Flick decided not to rely on him during the new season, despite the club's conviction in his technical abilities.

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Bardghji, who joined Barcelona last summer for three million euros, requested to leave at the end of the season, after realizing the difficulty of securing playing minutes amid the reinforcement of the winger position with new signings.
The report indicated that the coming week will be decisive, with the player's arrival in Barcelona, where he will hold a meeting with Barcelona coach Hans Flick to finalize his future.
Flick and the sporting management led by Deco believe that the best option for the player is to leave, whether on loan or via a permanent transfer that includes a buy-back clause, while he will be able to stay with the team if he wishes, but without any guarantee of participation.
The report clarified that Barcelona has given the player and his representatives the green light since the beginning of June to search for a new club, amid significant interest from several European clubs.
Bardghji has received more than ten offers, most notably from Premier League clubs such as Sunderland, Leeds United, Brighton, Fulham, and Aston Villa.
Ajax has also expressed interest in signing the player, along with Olympique Marseille, Porto, and several Spanish clubs.
Barcelona hopes to settle the player's future before the team's training camp in England begins on July 28, so that he can join his new club and complete the full preparation period, without the club exerting any pressure on him to make the decision.
The report confirmed that Barcelona still believes in Bardghji's abilities and considers his departure a purely technical decision aimed at giving him the opportunity to play regularly and continue developing.
The Catalan club also wishes to retain the right to buy the player back in the future, after his market value has risen significantly, as the management believes he possesses the qualities that qualify him to become an influential player in the coming years, while the final decision remains in the hands of Bardghji and his entourage.
Ronnie played 28 matches with Barcelona, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
