A private source inside Zamalek Club revealed the existence of a major crisis inside the White Castle, due to the mechanism of operation of the football company and the entity that will own its shares.
The source clarified in his statements via Yalla Koura that some voices in the club's management are demanding that Zamalek acquire the largest percentage in the management of the company, considering it a project specific to the future of the club and the football team.
The source added during his statements: "While others see the necessity for investors and businessmen to obtain a 60% stake, compared to 40% for the club".
He continued in the same context: "Members of the Zamalek Club board of directors expressed their dissatisfaction with the division over the club's ownership percentage in the football company".
He concluded: "A general assembly of Zamalek Club will be called to make the final decision, so that the club members can settle the position regarding the ownership percentage of the football company".
The football company of the White Club aims to develop sports management and enhance investment aspects in line with the club's plans during the upcoming phase.
Zamalek seeks to organize its affairs, before the start of the new 2026/2027 season, which will see the team competing in many championships, most notably the African Champions League and the Premier League.
