A source revealed details of the upcoming meeting that the Football Association Board of Directors will hold, headed by Hani Abu Rida, today, Saturday, at exactly 12 noon, to discuss a number of prominent files related to the next stage.
A source told "Laila Koura", that the Federation's meeting will include discussing 4 main files, topped by the contract of the technical director of the Egyptian national team, Hossam Hassan, along with the file of appointing the technical director of the Federation, choosing the technical director of the Olympic team, and settling the file of the head of the referees committee.
The source added that there will be a meeting between the Federation and the Licensing Committee in order to examine the clubs' papers, most notably Zamalek Club, provided that the final decision regarding granting licenses is within the jurisdiction of the African Football Confederation CAF.
The Egyptian Football Association had issued an official statement earlier, in which it explained the mechanism of the Clubs Licensing Committee, confirming that it operates with complete independence in accordance with the regulations of the International (FIFA) and African (CAF) Federations, ensuring neutrality and transparency in all its decisions.
The Federation explained that the Licensing Committee has examined all applications of local clubs, in addition to the clubs nominated to participate in African championships, by applying all the standards stipulated in the licensing regulations, foremost among which is the financial standard, without exception.
The statement indicated that all clubs submit license documents through the electronic platform of the African Football Confederation, where the files are subject to review by the Licensing Committee of the Egyptian Federation, and under the supervision of "CAF", with full commitment to the principles of equality and equal opportunities.
