Mohamed Belal, chairman of Smouha Club, spoke about the match against Al-Ahly, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Smouha chairman stated in remarks to Al-Mehwar Channel: "The match against Al-Ahly will mark the beginning of Smouha's campaign in the league this season, and I hope we deliver a strong performance; we have players capable of doing so."

He added: "Smouha players have strong motivation to give their utmost against Al-Ahly and exert every effort to appear in a manner befitting the team during the match."
He continued: "We fully support Ahmed Abdel Aziz, the team's coach, and we have complete confidence in both the players and the technical staff to deliver an outstanding performance against Al-Ahly."
He concluded: "Recently, Smouha has reduced the average age of its players, released half of the squad, and is now working on building a new team capable of competing and delivering distinguished performances."
