Sky Sports network revealed today the latest developments regarding the future of RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande and the possibility of the Ivorian international transferring to Real Madrid in the coming period.
Real Madrid wants to sign Diomande during the current summer transfer window, as the Spanish club is close to reaching an agreement with Leipzig to acquire the young winger.
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg stated that Diomande has returned to Leipzig to continue preparations with the German club for the new season.

Plettenberg stated via his official account on the X platform that Diomande is undergoing fitness tests today before resuming training with his teammates at Leipzig.
He added that negotiations between Real Madrid and Leipzig regarding Diomande are still ongoing, and the Ivorian winger will continue training with the German club until a final agreement is reached.
Plettenberg concluded by saying that Leipzig's goal is to sell Diomande to Real Madrid for a record fee, as reports in recent hours indicated that the deal could break the 100 million euro barrier.
