Mustafa Shobier, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team, stressed that the Pharaohs' goal in the future is to compete strongly and not just make an honorable appearance in the tournaments.

Shobier said during President Sisi's invitation to the Egyptian national team for lunch: "From the first day we were in the national team, we came to reach the farthest point and not just for an honorable appearance, and thank God we were able to make the Egyptian people happy".
He added, "I thank Engineer Hani Abu Rida and Mohamed Salah for their support to us".
President Sisi received the Egyptian national team this morning at the presidential palace in Alamein to honor the Pharaohs after returning from the World Cup.
President Sisi awarded all members of the Egyptian national team delegation the Order of Sports of the First Class in honor of them.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was also keen to extend an invitation to the team to have lunch with him in honor of what they presented in the World Cup.
