Mustafa Shobier, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team, revealed the behind-the-scenes details of his relationships with players in the team from other clubs, as well as his relationship with Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Pharaohs.

Shobier said via MBC Egypt: "My father felt proud of my participation in the World Cup after he had participated in the 1990 World Cup, and before every match he would ask me to just enjoy it".
He added, "I am very happy for Karim Hafez for his participation and his very good performance in the World Cup after Fatouh's injury, as well as Zico, Haitham Hassan, and Hamza Abdel Karim".
He continued, "Shikabala called me when I was 16 years old after I faced criticism in one of the matches and supported me a lot".
He added, "I congratulated all the Zamalek players in the national team on winning the league title, and they deserved the title last season because they did what made them win the championship, unlike Al Ahly who did not perform well, but next season we will try to make up for the loss of the title".
He confirmed, "Hossam Hassan is a very bold coach and takes responsibility for his decisions, as he included Haitham Hassan, Zico, and Hamza Abdel Karim without considering anything else".
He pointed out, "There are no Al Ahly or Zamalek calculations in the Egyptian national team, and the coach includes the elements that implement his ideas and lead him to success".
He stressed, "What I presented in the World Cup is just the beginning for me to reach a better level and give more to the Egyptian national team".
He explained, "We fear facing Omar Marmoush's shots in training; he is a very big player and it is natural for him to go through a period of bad luck".
He continued in his statements, "If Marmoush had scored just one goal in the World Cup, things would have been completely different for him, and he is the one who will carry the Egyptian national team in the coming years, so we should not lose him with harsh criticism".
He concluded his statements, "I speak English and am now learning Spanish, and for 6 years I have been working as a translator for any foreign player at Al Ahly to translate his conversation with the coaches".
