Shawky Gharib, the technical director of the Egyptian Football Association, held a meeting with the heads and directors of the juniors and youth sectors at the clubs.
This comes within the framework of the Football Association's keenness to maintain continuous communication with the clubs and develop the juniors' competitions system.
Shawky Gharib's meeting with the juniors and youth officials discussed the system of age-group competitions for those born in 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011, the dates of holding the competitions and stoppage periods, in addition to examining the most prominent challenges and problems facing the juniors' teams.
Gharib stressed the importance of continuing coordination and communication between the association and the juniors and youth sectors in the clubs, which contributes to overcoming obstacles and working on developing the competitions.
The technical director of the Football Association explained that there is an agreement to hold periodic meetings in the coming period to follow up on various files and enhance cooperation, which serves the future of Egyptian football and the discovery of promising talents.
